My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Mrs. Hay as well as my sincere condolences to Diana Fluke. Diana, I am sure you were an excellent caregiver to your Mother and the golden years of her life were happy ones. Words are so superficial at a time like this. Know that I am praying for you and thinking of you. God Bless You and may God grant peace to you. She will meet you at heavens gate.

Love to you,
Kim Podolski

"Mart" and I were childhood friends, living just a short bike hop from each other.  We spent most Saturdays together.  Her dad (I called him "Pop") caught turtles in Rush Creek and I shared many a turtle supper with him and Mart and Virginia.  We went through grade school together at Essex and graduated from high school together at Richwood High School in 1944.

After marrying, we saw little of each other, but whenever she came back to Richwood to visit family, she always had a family member give me a "heads up" and we would get to have a visit at one of their homes.

Bonita, I remember you clearly as a baby and later as an adult.  You were such a pretty baby, and pretty as an adult!  I also remember as babies, John and Alona.  I was sorry when they moved away.

Mart is with Hayden now and her children who have gone before.  I wish them all Heavenly Rest.

Phyllis (Marsh) Meddles

P.S.  I am writing this Saturday morning, one day late for both viewing and funeral.  I regret not getting to see Mart and say a personal goodbye and til we meet again!
