Glen, Dena, Lisa and family:
We are so sorry to hear that Vonnie has gone on to her reward with the Lord. She was a gracious and wonderful person to work with at River Valley. She always had a smile and a cheerful "Hello" for me when I would walk into the office. I am sure you all miss her so much. Though this period of time is stressful and sad, take comfort in knowing that she is with God and He will bring comfort to you if you ask Him for it. May God bless you all.

Vonie was a fine lady in every way:  Always quick with a kind word & gentle advice.  New to RVHS as a teacher in '78, Vonie helped me in so many ways.  Many students, as well, could often be seen at her desk at any given time -- laughing, talking & sharing the  everyday experiences of growing-up.  I'm sure she made a big difference in so many students' lives.
Above all, Vonie spoke often and proudly about her family with an infectious smile.
Please accept our deepest condolence as each day brings you greater strength and more peace.
