Deeply saddened to hear about Mike.  My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.  Mike was a stand up guy and when I heard the news this week, memories of the 80's growing up on West Penn Blvd came flooding back.  He was an all around good guy that would do anything for you.  The great memories are just too many to list here but I think I've replayed a good many of them over in my mind the last few days.  There were just so many.  My condolences to Kelly and the girls, Ruth, Jim, Toni and everyone that was lucky enough to have Mike be part of their lives......John Tomechko

Mike was one of the first people I met when I started at Taiho. He always had a smile on his face and nice things to say. He cared about people and did his best to make everyone as happy as he could. We always joked about the Steelers and the Cowboys. It's still hard to believe this has happened. I will miss his positive ways to life.

Mike was really a brother to us rather than our cousin and friend. We loved him and cherished our relationship. He deeply loved his soul mate Kelley and was a doting father and grandfather to his wonderful girls and grand daughter. He was very loyal and compassionate to all of his family, friends, and colleagues alike. We will remember his genuine goodness, faith, energy, humor, and kind soul.  His time with us unexpectedly and sadly ended much earlier than we wanted, but his tremendous legacy of love and putting others before self will forever continue to inspire everyone who was blessed to know him.

Dear Kelly and family,
It was my pleasure to work with Mike and see him grow in Taiho's ways and philosophy. Mike was not only the best hire I ever made but a true friend at work and away from work. I will miss him in many ways and know you all will also. We all wish there was a way to bring him back but since we can not we can only take comfort in knowing he is in a much better place now. God bless you and your family in this time of grief.
