Betty Ruth Tron

Betty Ruth Tron 90 of New Bloomington, died Sunday evening November 27, 2016 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital.

She was born January 29, 1926 in Marion to the late Raymond and Flossie (Solomon) Gay, she was also predeceased by her husband Harry A. Tron, they were married in June of 1952 and he died in 1982 and one brother: Donald Gay and an infant sister: Flossie Mae Gay

Betty was a dedicated nurse and lab Technician at the former Sawyer Sanatorium in Marion, member of the New Bloomington United Methodist Church, where she had been active in the Women’s Group, former Cub Scout leader, (she was a den mother), she had worked at the former New Bloomington School (Elgin) as a cook and had been active with the Elgin Music Boosters.

Her most important roles in life were that of mother, wife and Christian.

Surviving is her son: Timothy A. (Janet) Tron of Big Island

Private graveside services will be conducted by Pastor Kathy Herr at the Agosta Cemetery, Friends may call Wednesday from 3-4 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue

Memorial gifts may be made to the New Bloomington United Methodist Church at 2540 Agosta Meeker Road North, New Bloomington, OH 43341
