Brenda Kay Hamilton

Brenda Kay Hamilton 69 of Ostrander, died Monday evening November 21, 2016 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital following a brief illness. She was born June 3, 1947 in Delaware County to the late Royden and Mapel (Geyer) Atherton, she was also predeceased by her husband Anthony “Bud” Hamilton, they were married January 6, 1983 and he died December 25, 1996, and one brother: Gene Atherton Brenda was a 1965 graduate of the Buckeye Valley High School, and she most recently had worked for Buehlers in Delaware in the Deli Department Surviving is her family, one son: Lee H. Reese of Ostrander, one daughter: Gwendolyn (Terry) Pratt of Harrod Grandchildren: Victoria “Tori” (John) Gilliam, Cynthia (Joseph) Dearth, Tyler, Maggie and Trevor Pratt Great Grandchildren: Reagan and Zachary Dearth, and Nick, Ivy, Gabe and Kole Gilliam Brothers: Marvin Atherton and Larry (Sharon) Atherton both of Richwood A gathering of family and friends will take place Sunday November 27, 2016 at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood from 2-4 pm, private burial will take place at a later date in the York Cemetery Memorial gifts may be made to the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home at PO Box 122 Richwood, Ohio 43344 to help with final expenses.
