Roy Lee Walker

Roy Lee Walker 88 formerly of New Bloomington, died Thursday February 4, 2016 at the Marion Manor Nursing Home, where he had been residing. He was born September 14, 1927 in Buffalo, West Virginia to the late Julius and Pheba (Sayre) Walker Roy was retired from the Marion Power Shovel where he worked as a welder. He is survived by three children: Billie Jo Shuster, Norma Lee Walker and Carl Lee Walker, one brother: Richard Meadows and one sister: Bessie Carlyle Predeceased by his wife Margaret Walker, brothers: George Walker, Brady “Pete” Meadows, one sister: Betty Roberts Graveside services will be held Friday February 12, 2016 at 11:00 am at the LaRue Cemetery, Pastor Dwight L. Hord will officiate. The Walker family would like to thank the Marion Manor for their loving care of Roy and to Pastor Hord for his weekly visits.
