David M. Hall
David M. HallCross and FlameDavid M. Hall, 77 of Marysville was reunited with his heavenly family on Monday, August 10, 2015 after several attempts to overcome chronic heart failure. He is survived by Charlene (Paver), his wife of 58 years; sons Denny (Lynne) Hall and Dan (Peg) Hall, both of Marysville; grandchildren Hillary, Riley, Maggie, and Grace Hall; and Brother in law Bill Paver. Preceding him in death were his parents, Meredith and Garlatine (McAdow) Hall, sister Ann, and Step-mother Eunice.

He was born March 28, 1938 in Marysville.  During his 77 years of life in our community David was active in Christian service at the Pharisburg United Methodist Church and the Sunnybreeze Christian Fellowship in Arcadia, Florida. He also was a leader in agricultural circles serving as President of the Ohio Wheat Growers, Union County Farm Bureau, State Trustee with Ohio Farm Bureau Federation, and Master of the Leesburg Grange. He loved traveling and camping and served for many years on the Ohio Farm Bureau “Camp-In” committee.

The true joy of David’s life was his family.

In addition to his love for farming, David also worked for many years at the O.M. Scotts Co., U.S. Postal Service, and as the Taylor Township Clerk. While attending the Northwestern High School, David attained his State FFA Degree, something he and the school were very proud of.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Pharisburg United Methodist Church with Pastor Judy Cramer officiating.  Burial will follow in Maskill Cemetery.  Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 7 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Pharisburg United Methodist Church, C/O Kathy Custer, 13860 State Route 347, Marysville, OH 43040-9752, Sunnybreeze Christian Fellowship, 11682 SW Welcome Ave., Arcadia, FL  34269, and the American Heart Association, 5455 N. High Street, Columbus, OH 43214.

David Hall was a nice man, true Christian, great family, great farm, loving church, inspiring life, inspiring relationships. I'm glad I knew him. I'll always remember the hall corn roasts, David's hard work at the fair booth, his and Charlene's snowbirding, and his prayer requests for "timely rains". May God give you all the strength of the joy of the Lord. David's life has been terrific, like his corn that he named "Incredible".

We were both shocked at the learning of David's passing.  We had last seen him at the Northwestern Reunion here at Homer's Cafeteria.
David will certainly be missed by all but especially by Charlene.
Our deepest sympathy and sorrow goes out to all of his family.
To bring back some distant memories David and I used to ride the same bus route.  Gerald Cox was our bus driver, aka "Coxie".  We went to Broadway Ohio school which is no longer there.
I am some younger then David but not far behind.
Once again, we are so sorry!!!

Charlene and family: Donna and I wich to express our deepest sympathy and our love to you all at the homecall of our dear brother David. Through our Sunnybreeze relationship, we came to love him dearly and appreciate him for all that he was. His gentle spirit and genuine love of the Lord and the Lord's people became very obvious, particularly as we fellowshipped together at the Friday morning "Men's Bible Study group", and as guests in your Sunnybreeze home.
Our loss is Heave's gain and we look forward to the day when we will join our loved ones in Glory, to be with our Lord for all eternity.
Charlene, just know that you are loved and we lift you into the presence of the Lord for His tender loving care and may the peace of God fill your heart.    Dave & Donna Fenton.
