So sorry to hear about Laura's passing. I remember her when she worked at Winter's Furniture store when I was growing up in Richwood. When I moved back to Richwood we reconnected and I considered her a very special friend. She was a terrific and kind person. I am sure the family will miss her but heaven has welcomed a very special lady.

So saddened to hear of Laura's passing. She lived a long life, but was dealt a bad circumstance and taken advantage of  by some. I want to say Sandy Brown was a dear friend and Rita cared a lot for her Aunt Laura.
I have known Laura when we paid our gas bills in at Winter's furniture store and she always took the time to visit. In later years when I marred and had children she always sent birthday and get well card from her. What a caring person she was.It is too bad not all that she loved felt the same way. God speed Laura I will miss you.

I can not even begin to say what a true blessing it was to know Laura. I along with the rest of the Civic Center gang spent time with her every day. She was the voice on the line when you called for a meal. She recorded the names for bingo and euchre. Once the newsletter printed I would take it to her apartment and She, along with her "crew" made sure the newsletter was stuffed into envelopes along with the prime time.  If prime time was late she would call senior services and add a little pressure! I enjoyed visiting with her and will miss her dearly. She was a blessing for all who knew her.

Oh Laura, how we will miss you. What a special friend you has been to me. A staunch volunteer at the Civic Center and always there to help with special occasions, judging the coloring contest and house decorating at Christmastime. Laura and her clipboard were always ready to help: I think Laura has already signed up to volunteer in heaven. Just think how many people will miss a card from her this year. Laura was truly "One of a kind."

Laura Kuba was the sweetest, most kind woman I have ever met.  She was soft spoken, rarely raised her voice and was so thoughtful of others. She enjoyed sharing her colored pieces of artwork with me on many occasions. We should all be more like Laura. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to have her in my life. Rest in peace sweet lady!
