Randy D. Meadows
Randy D. MeadowsHarley Davidson SoftailRandy D. Meadows, 54 of Hepburn died unexpectedly Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at his home.  He was born April 30, 1960 in Marion.  He was preceded in death by his father, Brady A. “Pete” Meadows and his mother, Viola Louise (Pine) Hudson; his son, Joshua D. Meadows, a brother, Danny Brooks and a sister, Mona F. Riefsnyder.

He had worked at Whirlpool and had also worked in construction.  Randy loved riding his Harley Davidson, driving race cars, and doing anything else that involved speed.  He enjoyed shooting pool and just having a good time.  Randy was a hard worker and always finished what he started.

He is survived by his fiancée, Barbara A. Williams, Hepburn; his daughter, Amber Mayse, Richwood; a step-daughter, Hillary (Kyle) Smith, Hepburn; grandchildren, Logan Stines and Kelsey Mayse; step-grandchildren, Kyle “Bug” Smith; Gavin Prater; Madison Prater; Jeffrey Smith; two brothers, Larry A. Meadows, Marion; Tom R. (Mary Price) Meadows, New Bloomington; and a sister, Christina (Rolly) Armstrong, Marion.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, LaRue with Rodney Armstrong and Josh Hause officiating.  Friends may call on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home in LaRue.

My deepest sympathies to the family. Randy and I had been close friends since childhood. I have not seen him for several years and was shocked to see he had passed. He was a dear sweet soul and I know will be sadly missed. Rest in Peace sweetie.

So very sorry for your loss.  Our family has since left that area, but myself and my siblings grew up with Randy and his family.  Please accept our heartfelt sympathies.  God bless !  The Carpenter Clan....
