My husband, Phill, worked with Luther at Whirlpool and thoroughly enjoyed those years with him. I, of course, was in school with Carol and Gary.  We are sorry to learn of Luther's death but know he left you with happy memories of your times together - dwell on those.

We received word of your fathers passing earlier to day.
Memories of his Baptist faithfulness come to my mind and his
Kind supportive words to this nephew will forever linger in my
Mind. I hope someday to share with you his kindness towards me that saw me over a rough spot in my life .  Please know that distance is the only obstacle keeping me from personally
Being with you in this time of sorrow. You are most assuredly
In my thoughts & prayers .

When I was married to Willard, we would be asked to go for Thanksgiving dinner with Luther and Dorothy and the family. It was always so nice to be sitting there and listening to Luther talk about different things. He was so quite and soft-spoken, his laugh was a chuckle. He was also so good to my son, Shad, but he loved all children. He will truly be missed, but now he's with Dorothy and I can hear her now,"Where are we going to eat tonight?" Rest in Peace Luther. Thinking of you,Gary and Carol and family
