David E. Jividen
David E. JividenFlagDavid E. Jividen 79 formerly of Richwood, died Sunday morning January 18, 2015 at the Heath Nursing Care Center, where he had resided for the last twelve years.

He was born December 14, 1935 in Robertsburg, West Virginia to the late Dayton E. and Phoebe Virginia (Daugherty) Jividen, he was also predeceased by two sisters: Muriel Evans and Juanita Eaches.

David was a 1953 graduate of the Richwood High School, a veteran of the Army and had worked as a security guard and in maintenance at the Capitol University in Columbus.
When he was younger and able, he enjoyed outdoor activities such as boating, fishing and walking.

Surviving are his sisters and brother: Janice (Ken) Linstedt of Waldo, Bonnie (Bob) Dill of Loveland, Co., Marilyn (Larry) Hauck of Cusseta, Ga., Eileen (Jerry) Pfarr of Tulsa, Ok. and Mike (Ruth) Jividen of Hilliard.
Numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 21, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, Pastor Jerry Pfarr will officiate, following the service there will be Military Honors conducted by the Richwood Area Veterans, burial will follow in the Claibourne Cemetery, friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home in Richwood starting at noon.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Heath Nursing Care Center Activities Fund at 717 S. 30th St. Heath, Ohio 43056

Eileen and family, I am so sorry to hear of
David's passing.  He is at peace now and no longer suffering.  I apologize for not being able to come to the calling hours/funeral tomorrow.  You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I will like to extend  my deepest sympathy. “The pain, the grief, and the feelings of helplessness can seem unbearable. At such times, we need to go to God’s Word for comfort. (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4)
