You are in my thoughts and prayers at the passing of your mother.  She gave you a long life of memories to cherish.

Dan, have many fond memories of Gary and I double dating with you and your date back in the day!  Remember well the black convertible car you had.  The cars you guys drove (Gary's 57 red Chevy convertible are now worth a fortunate but who was thinking that back then!

I'm sorry to hear of the passing of your mother.  I got to know her in perhaps the last twenty years as I would take my aunt to ice cream socials and similar events in the community.

Marge was often accompanied by your Aunt Wilma.  They were both always smartly dressed women which was nice to see as opposed to those in the attire of the carefree lifestyle that was emerging.

I'm sure my parents knew both of your parents as my grandmother Martha Hall Blue was a first cousin to your grandmother Esther Cooksey.
(Esther's mother was Mary Jane Hall, sister to Henry M. Hall, father of my grandmother.)

My aunt, Ruby Blue Fox, wants me to convey her condolences to you.  She just celebrated her 94 birthday in July.

Sincerely,
Rebecca Blue George

Marilyn,
Marjorie was a very nice lady.  I remember her from when we lived in Green Camp and you and I used to play jacks on our front porch.  So sorry for your loss.  I understand how you feel as I have lost all of my siblings.

                       Love, Mozelle
