Marjorie Sparks Sisson
Marjorie Sparks SissonIndian DollMarjorie Sparks Sisson, 74 of Prospect died Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born April 28, 1939 in Radnor to the late Harold and Glenna (Weiss) Sparks.

She and her family also lived in Twin Falls, Idaho for eight years then came back to Radnor where she married Donald “Bevo” Sisson, who survives in Waldo.

A 1957 graduate of Radnor High School, she went to beauty school and then opened up her own hair shop in Waldo for fifteen years.  Marjorie loved to go back and visit Idaho and the desert.  She also loved collecting Indian and antique dolls.  Sixteen years ago she moved back to Prospect and had lived there until the time of her passing.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Sue (Richard) Ewing; and Mike (Wendy) Sisson, both of Waldo.  She is also survived by four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jay (Martha) Sparks and Roger Sparks, both of Radnor; nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Buzz Messenger, Marion.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Birchfield.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Prospect where friends may call two hours prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 AM.  Pastor Sarah Schaaf will officiate and burial will follow in Radnor Cemetery.

Memorial gifts may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

My heart breaks for each one of you.I am sorry for the loss of your Mom and Grandma.My thoughts and prayers are with you all.Marge was one of a kind lady. I will miss her very much!!!!!!!!!!
