Cindy K. (Reese) Smith |
 Cindy K. (Reese) Smith, 60 of Richwood, died January 5, 2014 at The Ohio State University Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born August 20, 1953 in Marysville to the late Howard and Lavaria (Smith) Reese. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard E. Reese and step-father, Earl Simmons.
A 1971 graduate of North Union High School, she also attended Marion Technical College for two years. Cindy was a member of Richwood First Baptist Church and enjoyed bible study with friends. She was a beautician for many years, owning her own shop in Richwood. She loved cats and had many that she cared for until her illness prevented her from doing so.
She is survived by three brothers, William H. “Bill” Reese; Richwood; Gary L. Reese, Richwood; Robert W. “Bob” Reese, Marion; a sister, Sue (Jake) Sarver, Richwood; a sister-in-law, Barbara Reese, Richwood; an aunt, Ceola Lykins, Portsmouth; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood with Pastor Brian Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 4 to 6 PM at the funeral home in Richwood.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Richwood First Baptist Church, 101 East Ottawa Street, Richwood, OH 43344.

I use to go to my aunt Cindys house every weekend day in the morning and ate breakfast and for her last birthday i got her a cat picture!

I had the pleasure of caring for Cindy once in a while & she was a very friendly & beautiful person. She always had a pleasant disposition.
