Carol Rogers
Carol RogersYellowRoseCarol Rogers, age 63 of Savannah, Georgia, formerly of Marion, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Christmas Day morning, losing her courageous battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

Carol was a loving wife, mother, sister, cousin and friend.  On December 30, 2002 she married the love of her life, David Rogers, who survives in Savannah, and together they travelled the United States, wherever his job called them.  Wherever they went, she instantly made friends and loved the travelling in their RV.

Carol was born on December 13, 1950, in Kenton, the daughter of the late Clarence A. Sandusky and the late Mary Fredericks Johnson.  She graduated from North Union High School in 1970.

She is survived by her son Patrick (Trey Cole) Boyhan, Anthem, Arizona; her step-mother Alicia Sandusky, Byhalia; four sisters, Susan (David) Rouse, North Bloomfield; Anna (Fred) Temple, Waldo; Becky (George) Dunnan, Lebanon; Janet (Tim) Sanderson, Janesville, Wisconsin; four brothers, Tom (Joyce) Thomas, Marion; Martin (Kim) Johnson, Bellefontaine; Danny (Rita) Johnson, Rushsylvania; and Juan (Angie) Sandusky, Byhalia.

A memorial service will be held Friday, January 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood with Pastor Joe Rhea officiating.  The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM.  Interment of her cremated remains will follow in Byhalia Cemetery.

To the Roger family:  Carol was in my class at North Union and she was a delite to have as a classmate.  So sorry for your lost and know you are in my prayers.
