Eddy Ray PenixMotorcycle HarleyEddy Ray Penix age 60 of Richwood, died Monday evening May 13, 2013 at the Ohio State University Medical Center.

He was born August 27, 1952 in Marion to the late James Melvin and Iretta (Conley) Penix.

On June 13, 1970 in Wise, Va. He married Becky S. (Tanner) and she survives, also surviving are their sons: Eddie (Karen) Penix of Marion and Shane (Patti) Penix of Richwood.
Grandchildren: Brandon, Alexis, Storm, Taylor and Madison Penix
Two Brothers: Roy (Rona) Penix of Richwood and Gary (Robyn) Penix of Salt Lake City, Utah; six sisters: Hilda Gilliam of Marion, Pat (Mark) Anderson of Brooksville, Florida, Deb (Carey) Hughes of Richwood, Ella Mae Davis of Richwood, Lori Evans of Dublin and Judy Kay (Tim) McElroy of Richwood

Eddy attended the Community United Calvary Church in Richwood, had worked at TODCO overhead door company in Marion from 1983-1997, during the years of 1991-1997 he was President of Local #2506 in Marion; he then started Penix Construction in 1998 operating the family company until his retirement due to health issues.

He loved riding his Harley, tinkering in his garage, building things, working on cars or fixing anything that needed fixing.
The love of his life was his family (especially his grandkids) and his dog “Pollie”, his family will deeply miss Eddy.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday May 18, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, Pastor David Hudson will officiate, burial will follow in the Claibourne Cemetery, Friends may call Friday from 5-8 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood.

Memorial gifts may be given to LifeLine of Ohio at 770 Kinnear Rd Columbus, OH 43212
