Ethel M. Kuba
Ethel M. KubaEthel M. Kuba, age 88 of Richwood, died unexpectedly Friday, April 29, 2011 at Marion General Hospital.  She was born December 7, 1922 in Upper Sandusky to the late Edward and Iva (Winslow) Stansberry.  On August 9, 1963 she married Daniel L. Kuba in Michigan and he died June 16, 1999.  She was also preceded in death by a son Steven "Bones" Hamilton and a daughter Linda Sue (Hamilton) Fields,her first husband John T. Hamilton Jr. three brothers, Gerrald, Dick and Paul Stansberry.

She was a member of the Richwood First Baptist Church, Richwood American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary and the Richwood Civic Center.

She is survived by three daughters, Sandra (Charles) Brown, Richwood; Judy (Sam) Wiford, Tomah, Wisconsin; Janet (Jim) Hazelett, Euclid; one stepson Scott (Tina) Hamilton of Richwood, a brother, Gary (Joyce) Stansberry of Mansfield and a sister, Goldie Roseberry of Mansfield.

16 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren

Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 4, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood with Pastor Matthew Craig officiating, Friends may call Tuesday evening from 5-7 pm at the funeral home in Richwood; burial will be in the Claibourne Cemetery

Memorial gifts may be made to the Richwood Civic Center at 235 Grove St. Richwood, Ohio 43344 or to R.E.A.P. (the food pantry in Richwood) at 235 Grove St. Richwood, Ohio 43344

mrs and mr Kuba use to come to prospect laundry when i worked there.i remember when he passed away.my prayers go out to the family for their loss of Mrs Kuba.she was a wonderful lady.we shared some good laughs.she will be greatly missed.
