William F. Gibson
William F. GibsonBassWilliam F. Gibson age 80 of Galion, died Sunday evening January 2, 2011 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital.

He was born March 1, 1930 in Meeker to the late Greer E. and Ruth (Cramer) Gibson, he was also predeceased by 5 brothers: Art, Gene Lee, Emmitt, Donnie and Dick Gibson, 2 sisters: Norma Carpenter and Opal Bisel

Bill was a retired tree trimmer, having worked for the Nelson Tree Service in the Marion Area for 23 yrs. He was a true outdoorsman; he loved fishing and hunting especially at Lake Erie

Surviving are his children: Bill (Paula) Gibson of Galion, John Gibson of Marion, Judy (Dale) Van Horn of Columbus and Kathy Gibson of Marion

4 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren

2 brothers: Jack Gibson of Marion and Todd (Brenda) Gibson of Richwood, 2 sisters: Anna (Herb) James of New Bloomington and Betty Ricker of Lima

Funeral Services will be held Thursday January 6, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, where friends may call from 11:00 am until the time of Service, Pastor Joseph Rhea will officiate; burial will be in the Claibourne Cemetery.

Memorial Gifts may be made to the R.E.A. P. (the local food pantry) at 235 Grove St. Richwood, Ohio 4334

Aunt Letha, Kathy, Judy, Bill and John - my heart is with you all today.  I can't be with you on Thursday due to work but I wanted you to know your all in my heart.  I love you all and Uncle Bill was very special to us growing up, he will be missed.
