I feel a great amount of sympathy for the EMS Community and the family of Eddie Petersheim.

As a retired EMT, having served with Mt. Carmel Connection, I fully understand the committment that Eddie has given; not only to his friends and family, but also to all the people he served.

Rest in Peace, Eddie

I don't even know where to start. I'm still in total shock and lost for words. Eddie was such a special man, eager to do anything for anybody. He will be sadly missed so much. His smile, his jokes, just his presence in general. It will not be the same in the morning's not being greeted by his cute lil smile when he walks in the office. And his offering to see if we (dispatchers) needed anything. My prayers go out to his family and to Elizabeth. May god hold your hands and watch over you during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace. I'll miss you Eddie! Till we meet again.

I would like to express my most sincere sympathies and respect to the Petersheim family. I did not know Eddie well, however in the brief time i did spend with him it was clear he was a very polite and thoughtful man. He was well recieved among the other staff and settling in nicely, which makes this all the harder. I am very sorry for your loss. Eddie and your family will be in my thoughts. God bless.
