Irving R. Fisher
Irving R. FisherCrossIrving R. Fisher age 92, formerly of the Byhalia area, died Wednesday evening July 14, 2010 at the Community Health Care Center in Marion

He was born February 8, 1918 in Byhalia to the late David and Minnie (Schienert) Fisher; he was also predeceased by 1 sister Louise Blue, 3 half brothers: Lowell Fisher, Harold Fisher and Walter Arrund

Irving was a 1936 graduate of the Byhalia High School, retired from the Whirlpool Corp in 1982 after 26 yrs of service. Member of the Byhalia Friends Church, he was also a  farmer. He delivered Mobile Meals in Marion County for many yrs.
Always ready to learn he continued taking classes at OSUM after his retirement.

Surviving are nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held Monday July 19, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, where friends may call from noon until the time of service, Pastor Jim Gardner will officiate, burial will follow in the Byhalia Cemetery
Memorial gifts may be made to the Mobile Meals of Marion County at 326 S. Prospect St. Marion, Ohio 43302

Hi,
I was director of nursing @ Primrose. Irving was a wonderful gentleman and I had the pleasure of knowing him at that time.  He was polite, gentle and loved the Lord.  I will never forget him.  I trust the Lord will comfort you his family at this time.
