I was visiting Dad last evening and we came upon the news of the passing of "Doc" Welty in the paper. Dad dosen't have clear recollection of things these days, however the news prompted a few stories from the past. Doc Welty's contributions to his community and those who came to him for help at troubling times in their lives is memerable even to those who now have trouble remembering.  Doc Welty will be greatly missed by family and friends.  Please accept our sincerest sympathy in your time of sorrow.
