She taught me a lot about being a hair dresser, I would watch her as a kid and be amazed.  I have so many memories of her.  There is 37 years of things and memories to say.  She could be the core of our jokes as we got older and she didn't get mad, There was only one Mowa and always will be.  She was like a granny to me.  Dave, Tim and Scott we were raised together the 3 of you are like my brothers and Susi, I've always looked up to you.  I love all of you and I look at you all as family and I hope that never changes.

I can say alot about Mawa is was and always be in my heart. When I had her great grandson Steven she would come and get him to go to McDonalds just to let him play in playland when he was younger. She was a big part in both mine and Steven's life. I even remember she would let Steven ride his Power Wheel Moter Cycle in her Apartment. Oh how she loved Steven she would call him my boy and when ever she would call to get him she would say is my boy ready and I would say yes he is. Steven would always be looking out the window for his Mawa to pull up in the driveway, and when Steven would see her he would run out the door with the biggest smile on his face and give her the biggest hug ever. Thank you for being the best great grandmother for my son. I will always love you and miss you and I will keep you in my heart. It hard to believe that you are gone. My prays go out to her family. I feel that everyone needs to have a Mawa like this she will truely be missed by everyone that knows her she was so loving and careing she was the best. We will miss you very much!

Love
Frances Beard and Family

Susan, Mom & I are sad to hear of the death of your mother and our cousin.  Suzena and my Dad, Jesse Clyde Bowling, were first cousins; Dad died in 2005.  I'd just been talking with LaBetta about our upcoming family reunion when I learned of her illness.  I remember your Mom very well, as she often visited my grandparents (Paris & Lillie Bowling) - she also gave me a couple of awesome haircuts!
Just wanted you and your family to know that we are thinking of you.  Email me later if you'd like any information on our reunion.  Love & prayers, Sherry & Ruth

I will miss her dearly.  She was part of my family, since I never had one until I married Earl.  She treated my girls as though they were her grandkids and my grandkids she treated them the same way.  She was a big part of our lives just as Susi and the boys, I feel so bad I didn't make it down to see her sooner.  She will be dearly missed.
