Charles O. Tucker
Charles O. Tucker   Charles O. Tucker, age 89, of LaRue, died Monday December 14, 2009 at 9:25 AM at Marion General Hospital.  He was born December 10, 1920 in Clendenin, West Virginia to the late George Wesley and Nora (Waybright) Tucker. On October 29, 1955 he married Emma Mae Price and she survives.
Also surviving are son; Thomas D. (Jennifer) Tucker of LaRue, Randy W. (Cynthia) Tucker of New Bloomington, daughters; Regina Tucker of LaRue and Melinda (Steve) Mosley of New Bloomington. Grandchildren; Jessica (Gregg) Stephens, Julie (Grason) Pittman, Corey (Lori) Tucker, Shauna Tucker, Wesley (Amy) Mosley and Kaley (Jon) Haas. Great Grandchildren; Alex Stephens, Mitchell Stephens, Emilie Stephens and Lyla Tucker. Sisters; Velma Austin of Louisiana and Annabell Young of West Virginia. Special niece Kathy (Rodney) Baker of W. Va. Many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother Roy Tucker and three sisters Pauline Humphries, Evelyn Green and Janet Young.
Mr. Tucker worked as a shipping clerk at Marion Bronze. Member of Marion First Freewill Baptist Church. He loved family activities with his Kids, Grand Kids and Great Grand Kids. Also enjoyed Golf and woodworking.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday December 17, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue. Ministers will be Pastor Paul Staton and Pastor Roger Fletcher.  Burial in the Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 5 to 8 PM on Wednesday.
Those who wish may make contributions to the Marion First Freewill Baptist Church.

It was with a great sense of loss when we heard of Charles death. We wanted to let you know that you have our greatest sympathy. Our hearts are truly saddened. Charles was more than a wonderful person; he was a loving husband, father,brother,grandpa,great grandpa, and a friend to many. His passing will leave a void in their lives, but also in the hearts of all those who knew him.You are in our thoughts and prayers. May God give you strength to get through the Holidays.
