To the Bumgarner Family,

We were so sorry to hear of Millard's passing.  You have been in our prayers. We know it has been a stressful time these last few weeks.  Over the years we have so enjoyed our visits with your dad and Nina.  David and he would talk farming and he would catch up on the new technology and the big machinery. He'd just shake his head!  He was such a joy to talk to and he had a great sense of humor.  He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.  You all have so many memories to help you get through this tough time.  All our thoughts and prayers are with you.  May God Bless.  David and Nancy

Ben, Ned, Connie & Brenda
I have many wonderful memories of Millard and Martha.  Many football & basketball games. Just going to their house for a visit, they treated me like they were excited to see me. Now is a time for a celebration of his life rather than a mourning of his death. My thoughts are prayers are with you all. God Bless You.

To Ned and Ben,
We were so sorry to hear of the loss of your father.  Unfortunately we are all at an age where we are starting to loose our parents who we thought we be with us forever when we were young. It doesn't make it any easier, but it is understandable.  Our thoughts are with you today and on the day's ahead.  Take care, guys!

Dear Aunt Nina and Family,

I am so sorry about your loss...our loss.  We will miss Mel so very much.  For you Aunt Nina, what a wonderful blessing Mel was after the loss of Uncle Dwight.  The blessings he bought to you and our family are beyond measure.  I can not say enough great things about Mel...no need really as we all know what a kind, loving, cheerful, family man that he was.  I always looked forward to seeing you and Mel (often with Aunt Sue and Uncle Walt) coming by the Low Farm to say hello and check on Mom and Dad.  The memories will stay with me forever.  I love you guys!!!

I am sorry that I can not be there for you today.  Please know that my thoughts are with you, and my prayers flowing for Mel and your family.  Now God's promise for an eternal life will be fulfilled for Mel...God Bless You Mel!!

All my love and prayers!

Our condolences to the Bumgarner crew and the Davis family and all friends and family of Mr. Bumgarner.  Although I didn't have much contact with him, I am certain his influence on his family reached my own through Ben and Pam and the kids, and Brenda and Jon and their children.  I grew up around his children and grandchildren and am glad I did so!  Thanks for your influence Mr. Bumgarner!
