My grandmother was a wonderful grandmother. She did enjoy being around her great-grandchildren but she also enjoyed her grandchildren and her own children. She was always concerned for all of her kin. She asked me about my brother, who lives in Texas, alot. She always put others before herself. She made sure, before she got real sick, to have family around her for holidays. We all spent many Thanksgivings and other holidays together. She loved frogs. She was a very proud woman and she has passed that on to her children and grandchildren. She always tried to stay strong but for those of us she was close to she let that guard down and opened up. I moved back to Ohio in 2004 and her and I talked just about every day. She shared with me lots of things and I am glad I could be there for her when she needed me. She always taught me to be strong but she also taught me to accept mistakes and to learn from them. She also told it like it was. She is a Leo and so am I. I am grateful to share that sign with her. We are a lot alike and I know I will make her proud. There are many memories of her that I will always cherish. The time we spent together will never be forgotten. I will love her forever and I know she will watch over my family.

I will always remember her simply as "mama" my grandmother who was there for me from begining to my adult life.  At a very young age she came to me when I needed her, and from then on I was always close.  Like the perfect grandmother she was, she was always interested in what i was doing and what my goals were.  As an young teenager living far away she still was concerned.  And now as a grown adult I feel proud to have known her, proud to have spent my childhood with her, and most of all proud to call her my "mama" she will never be forgotten and I will never forget what she has taught me
   Forever loving

My Mother, My friend.
Mom, your life was full of loving deeds,
Forever thoughtful of my needs.
Today, tomorrow and my whole life through,
I will always love and cherish you.

I turned, and you were there for me;
I spoke and you understood.
Your wisdom helped me to see;
How life was about being good.

I’m fortunate that I was born
To someone just like you.
Even though you are gone,
You live in what I do.

Your loving daughter,
Cheryl

Mom, Thanks for always being there for me and helping me with my children and grandchildren, and for all of the many vacations and motorcycle trips that we took together and becoming my good friend and not just my mother.  I hope I can pass that on to my children and my grandchildren and maybe someday even great-grandchildren as you did.  I will always love you and miss you.

TO MY WIFE, WORDS CAN NOT EXPRESS THE BOND BETWEEN US, TOGATHER WE WERE ONE. IN THE FINAL DAYS WHEN WE WERE ATTEMPTING TO REVIEW OUR LOVE, JOYS, LAUGHTER, AND MEMORIES YOU SUMMED IT UP WHEN WE WERE LOOKING AT EACH OTHER WITH TEARS IN OUR EYES. YOU SIMPLY SAID" NO WORDS ". YOU WERE CORRECT IT CAN NOT BE EXPRESSED IN WORDS ONLY YOU AND I TRULY KNOW. I WAS ASKED RECENTLY. WHAT WAS THE BEST MEMORY OF OUR LIVES? THE ANSWER IS THE DAY WE FELL IN LOVE AND IT LASTED UNTIL THE DAY YOU DEPARTED. I REMEMBER THE LAST WORDS YOU SPOKE TO ME, ' I LOVE YOU " . I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER I WAS HOLDING YOU WHEN YOU WENT INTO THE LIGHT AND WHEN I WISPERED TO YOU " I LOVE YOU, THANK YOU FOR BEING MY WIFE, AND I WILL SEE YOU IN HEAVEN " I FELT YOUR SPIRT LEAVE AND I KNEW YOU WERE AT PEACE. YOU WERE MY REASON FOR LIVING AND I WILL CONTINUE TO DRAW ON YOUR SPIRT FOR THE STRENGTH TO DO MY BEST.I THANK FAMILY AND FRIENDS WHO WHO SHARED OUR HAPPY TIME ON EARTH TOGATHER. THE GERATEST GIFT WE EVER RECEIVED WAS GIVEN TO US WITH OUT THOUGHT AND WITH OUT EVEN BEING REALIZED BY MANY. THAT GIFT WAS SIMPLY TO LET US LOVE EACH OTHER WITH UNCONDITIONAL SUPPORT. MANY DID THIS WITH OUT EVEN KNOWING THEY WERE GIVING US THE GERATEST GIFT WE EVER RECEIVED. SQUIRT THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME LOVE YOU. I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT I WAS LOVED BY YOU FOR JUST ME AND YOU. I WILL LISTEN TO THE VOICE OF YOUR LOVE IN SILENCE. YOU WILL SPEAK TO ME THROUGH THE WIND AND SING TO ME THROUGH THE BIRDS. I WILL SEE YOU IN THE CLOUDS YOU ALWAYS LOVED TO LOOK AT. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MY BELOVED LITTLE SQUIRT. ALWAYS FAITHFUL, LOVE, MIKE

In honor of my Mother
Although you left the earth, your footprints remain forever in your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren you left behind through your wisdom, love and guidance.  Those footprints are deep within our hearts.  You were a giving and caring person and you shared your knowledge and accomplishments with us. You faced difficult times with courage and never stopped caring for the ones you loved.  You were always there for me and I miss you so much.  I miss your laugh, your smile, your voice, your words of advice and the cable.  That will always make me laugh. These things prove that, without a doubt, death has NO victory in the story of your cancer. For even in your death, you will live on through the lives you touched.  I love you Mom.  Cheryl
