My grandmother was a wonderful grandmother. She did enjoy being around her great-grandchildren but she also enjoyed her grandchildren and her own children. She was always concerned for all of her kin. She asked me about my brother, who lives in Texas, alot. She always put others before herself. She made sure, before she got real sick, to have family around her for holidays. We all spent many Thanksgivings and other holidays together. She loved frogs. She was a very proud woman and she has passed that on to her children and grandchildren. She always tried to stay strong but for those of us she was close to she let that guard down and opened up. I moved back to Ohio in 2004 and her and I talked just about every day. She shared with me lots of things and I am glad I could be there for her when she needed me. She always taught me to be strong but she also taught me to accept mistakes and to learn from them. She also told it like it was. She is a Leo and so am I. I am grateful to share that sign with her. We are a lot alike and I know I will make her proud. There are many memories of her that I will always cherish. The time we spent together will never be forgotten. I will love her forever and I know she will watch over my family.

I will always remember her simply as "mama" my grandmother who was there for me from begining to my adult life. At a very young age she came to me when I needed her, and from then on I was always close. Like the perfect grandmother she was, she was always interested in what i was doing and what my goals were. As an young teenager living far away she still was concerned. And now as a grown adult I feel proud to have known her, proud to have spent my childhood with her, and most of all proud to call her my "mama" she will never be forgotten and I will never forget what she has taught me

I had the pleasure of meeting Eulah a few times, she was a wonderful person and had a beautiful soul. I know she was loved by many and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends in this time of sorrow.

Maggie, I am sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I only had the one wonderful encounter with her, but could tell from just that small amout of time, she enjoyed life, loved you and all her children. I know you will miss her dearly and I am sorry I did not have the oppertunity to know her more. She will continue to live in your heart and your memories will keep her with your always.

Eulah thank you for being in my life for the past
45 years. You were always there 100% for me no one could have a better friend or sister then you. The day you got your Masters degree from Ohio State i was the proudest person in all the 45,000 people in attendence you beat the odds my friend. Thank you for being you. Friends always Bing

Maggie and Family... I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I just want you to know that you, your dad and sisters will be in my thoughts and prayers. I am very happy that you were able to spend some quality time with your mom last month and I know you will cherish those special moments. I will always remember my aunt "lula" as a kind and wonderful lady who would do anything for anyone , always thinking of others. She also had enough guts and stubborness to take on my dad (her brother)when I just had to go to the sixth grade dance. I will miss you terribly....Love Marjie

Mom, Thanks for always being there for me and helping me with my children and grandchildren, and for all of the many vacations and motorcycle trips that we took together and becoming my good friend and not just my mother. I hope I can pass that on to my children and my grandchildren and maybe someday even great-grandchildren as you did. I will always love you and miss you.

Eulah, you were one of my bestest buddies. We had a lot of good times together. I'll miss those great times. You always counseled me even before you got your degree! you were very very wise. You always were there for me and many others. I was so glad I could make it back in time for your service. Now you can be with your baby Ricky and wont have to suffer anymore pain. Although you left the earth, your footprints remain forever in your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren you left behind through your wisdom, love and guidance.
