We are deeply saddened for the loss of Shelby. We both have so many fond memories of both her and Bill. They both played a huge role in our lives and....our marriage...thanks to both her and Bill for allowing us to get married at their track!

I know there were many times, as the teams lined up at the gate to get in for a Saturday race, that the folks behind us must have been wondering what was taking so long!! And I have to just smile.....because it was just Shelby being Shelby....taking her time to visit a little with each team who came in that weekend. She treated so many of us like extented family and always greeted us with a smile.

We are very thankful for all that Shelby did over her many years and she will truly be missed by many.

Our prayers to you and your family during this time.

Mark and Kelly,
Please except our deepest sympathies for your loss. Always looked forward to see her smile whenever we came to town.

I still remember the day Bill had me mow the weeds to build the drag strip and moto-cross track. The raceway was good times had by all.

Shelby, you will be missed.

Love to you all,
John & Lisa

Mark and Kelly,
There's never any right words to say at a time like this.  All I do know is that God tells us to rejoice.  That's hard to do when we lose our loved ones I know. But the one thing you can find comfort in is knowing that you and your Mom were friends.  Having your Mom as a friend is to be cherished!  Mom's are special.
As for moving on with your lives.  Just always do what you know in your heart she would want.  You'll always have her wisdom to carry you through all your decisions.
Have a blessed day.
Ronnie

To the MCIR family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this sorrowful time. Most of us never had the opportunity to meet Shelby, but if her son Mark is any measure, she must have been quite a lady.
God speed.

I was truly sorry to hear about Shelby.  I remember her as a woman who was dedicated and fully involved in each task that she undertook.  But my best memory of Shelby is how fast our lunch hour would pass when she came into Coonie's for lunch.  We could cram a lot of talk in that short amount of time.  Know that I am thinking of you in this time of grief.  Beth
