I am so sorry to learn of Evelyn's passing. She was always such a happy person - she had a smile and laugh I will always remember. I worked with her at GTE and during that time, I recalled her from my childhood, remembering her from the horse barns and races with my Grandpa Cheney. She will be missed by many. May God comfort your family during this time.

My deepest sympathies. I remember many good times at the stables, fairs, and matinees. Dad and Mom (Bob & Eloise) always thought the world of all of you. I'm sure they are likely together and reminiscing all the fun times at this very moment. May God be with you and comfort you, Dirk

Joe and family.
It seems insurmountable at the moment but the hurt will pass and the good memories will take over. Evelyn is in a better place, no more pain or hurt.
We will continue our prayers for her and for you.

Joe, Maureen and family,
Evelyn had a smile that warmed many hearts. We had many good times with the horses, Matinee Club and just horsing around! She so loved and adored her family. Cherish your memories and know that she is smiling down on you all now. Our sympathy to all of you.

I was saddened to learn of Evelyn's death. She was a delightful person. Several years ago Evelyn and Vivian drove Ruby and I up to the Cleveland flower show. We stayed overnight at a motel and had a marvelous time. Those girls joked with their mother and were so much fun to be with. At the flower show I found a concrete garden fountain I wanted very much to purchase. The problem was getting it out to the car; the fountain was in three pieces and one was quite heavy. The union would not allow exhibitors to borrow their hand trucks, and the exibitor (males) were unwilling to carry it out. Evelyn and Vivian spoke up and said they would do it! I drove the car around to the nearest door. The owner and Evelyn carried out the heavy piece. Vivian and I each carried one of the other pieces. The fountain has been a joy to me and I think of those dear cousins when I look at it.
