I will certainly miss Uncle Carrol. He was for me like a Jimmy Stewart in "Its a Wonderful life". He was the kind, gentle, caring character you most want in your life. He stood up, gave you a firm handshake, eye to eye smile when greeting, and a glad to see you. You didn't have to ask, you came to know that his first priority was family followed by community. Carrol seem to always imply that he had the honor and it was his greatest joy in being a partner with Aunt Maxine. Oh sometimes he would say his children could get a a great solution to any situation if they just talked to Mom and she applied his remedy as a sort of magic ingredient. But he told me she was one with a strong mind and would kind of laugh - he was happy. What a wonderful person to be connected with.
