Many memories, lots of laughs and plenty of hugs: Garland & Sharon both brought us the truth and became our spiritual parents by studying the scriptures with us. They witnessed the union of our marriage in 2001. Garland and Sharon have played a huge role in our spiritual growth and thanks to their patience and perseverance they witnessed our baptism this past December 22, 2007.
We are so very grateful for the many fond memories that Garland and Sharon have shared with us. The times spent relaxing and sharing the joys of music as well as conversations about what it will be like in paradise under God's Kingdom. Sherry's laugh is unforgettable, which she loved to do. She was so thoughtful and humble, rarely drawing attention to herself or her problems.
I will never forget what she had told us that there are many ways to tell a lie, but only one way to tell the truth and "The Truth" is the truth. Sharon is one person who can definately say "I have fought the fine fight, I have run the course to the finish, I have observed the faith." (2 Tim. 4:7) She has endured to the end and we are looking forward to seeing her again in the paradise with renewed vitality.
You are in our prayers Garland and we love you..."The undeserved kindness of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you."

Garland, I am so sorry for your lost.
Losing the love of your life and your best friend would be unbearable without Jehovah's
promise.
When I first came to the Kingdom Hall in 1981 she was the first one to welcome me and became a really good friend.
You and Sherry was there for me when Bill passed away. Your comforting words helped me
Sherry was the sweetest person I have known. I will miss her very much.

Garland our thoughts and prayers are with you.  Sherry loved her creator and served him unselfishly.  She looked to him to impart strength.  Her race is run, and she ran it well.  Sherry will be missed by so many, but none more than you.  But you know we will see her again in Paradise.  Sherry was a true gem, meek and mild,  was always content with the simple things in life.  We will be missing her smiles and her warm hugs and her encouragement.  We love you Garland!
