My best memories of Jim are working with him on 3rd shift at PPG.  Jim was very old fashioned when it came to working.  If you worked hard, he liked you.  If you were lazy, he didn’t - that simple.  Jamie & Jeff can attest to that, they both worked as summer temps with him.

In the year 2000, I transferred to the job in the warehouse working side by side with Jim, preparing batches for the paint makers in the plant – a very challenging job.  Needless to say, I was a little scared;  “would I pass Jim’s test?”  I’m happy to say I passed the test and we cut batches together the last 2 ½ years before he retired.

We became good friends and I always felt like he was “looking out for me”, like a father figure.

I am so sorry to hear of your tremendous loss.

Jamie and Family,

I just found out about the death of your dad and am so sorry for your loss.  I can't think about our days hooping it up at NUHS without remembering your dad cheering for (and sometimes yelling at) you/us!  And now, I have no doubt that he and Bill are cheering us on from heaven. Thinking of you all during this sad time and praying that you find comfort in your wonderful memories.

Love,
Jennifer

Jamie and Jeff,

I was so sorry to hear of your dad's passing.  Unfortunately, I know exactly how you are feeling.  All I can say is that time does heal the loss and you can begin to remember the good times. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
