Dedicated to Patsy Thacker for Connie Ankrom

It seems like the world should stop
To catch every last one of our tear drops.

Time will heal the wounds we so feel
As right now, this is all too surreal.

A love as pure as fresh white snow
The greatest love a child can know.

Our mother's love will carry us on
As night surely will turn back to dawn.

Loving memories will flood your soul
Some days, it is all that will make you whole.

Never doubt she loves you, even now
Can you feel her gentle kiss upon your brow?

Our mother's love will never die
It is that whispering guidance always close by.
