Phyllis Hughes RobertsQuiltingPhyllis Hughes Roberts age 90 of Prospect and formerly of Wellsville, died early Tuesday October 14, 2008 at the Marion Manor
She was born near Prospect on June 20, 1918 to the late Reed and Lucille (Keller) Hughes
Phyllis was a 1936 graduate of the Prospect High School, member of the Prospect United Methodist Church, worked as a Dietician at the former Jane Case Hospital in Delaware, sold Avon Products and enjoyed Sewing, Quilting and Making Pillows
Phyllis loved life, she was one of those people who never met a stranger, and she will be greatly missed by family and friends
She married Paul F. Roberts in 1936 and he died in January of 1970, also predeceased by 1 daughter: JoAnne Roberts Moser, 1 sister: Betty Spratt and 1 brother: Bob Hughes
Surviving is 1 son: Richard (Rose) Roberts of Prospect, son in law: George Moser of Prospect
4 Grandchildren: Cheryl (Ralph) Roberts Miley, Kim (Scott) Roberts Hetzinger, Mary (David) Roberts Poling and Paul Douglas (Teri) Moser
8 Great grandchildren: Ryan Miley, Misty and Kyle Rager, Aaron and Jacob Poling, David (Sharon), Daniel and Melissa Moser
Great Great Grandchildren: Sarah, Austin, Ashlee and Alexis
Funeral Services will be held Friday October 17, 2008 at 11:00 am at the Prospect U.M. Church, Chaplain Dan Kiger will officiate, burial will be in the Prospect Cemetery, Friends may call Thursday from 4-7 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Prospect
Memorial gifts may be made to Project Faith at PO Box 6 Prospect, Ohio 43342

Roberts Fanily, I would like to send my deepest sympathy to your family. I've known Phyllis ever since I was a little boy. Phyllis and Paul were always so good to me. I remember all the trips and fishing with Paul.She will be deeply missed and loved by everyone. Robert Reed
