Phyllis Rae (Shearer) Rawlings age 70 of Marion died peacefully late Thursday morning at her home surrounded by her loving family She was born December 2, 1937 in Richwood to the late David and Mabel (Beaver) Griffiths she was also predeceased by 1 brother: Thomas Griffiths and 1 sister: Mary Kay Griffiths On April 16, 1993 she married James E. Rawlings Jr. and he died March 16, 2003 Phyllis had a professional talent for cross stitching which she did for many yrs., she also enjoyed painting, sewing and working in her flower garden Surviving are 1 son: Dan (Teresa) Shearer of Marion, 3 daughters: Deborah Shearer Simpson of Cardington, Donna Douce of Marion and DeAnn Douce (Phil) Skinner of Dublin Grandchildren: Travis Shearer, Lucas Shearer, Jennifer Simpson, Jill Simpson, Nick Miller, Tyler Adkins and Justin Skinner Memorial services will be held Tuesday July 8, 2008 at 2:00 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, where friends may call from noon until the time of service, Pastor Russell Howard will officiate, burial will be in the Radnor Cemetery Memorial gifts may be made to the Marion General Hospice at 1000 McKinley Park Dr. Marion, Ohio 43302 Remembrances and condolences may be expressed at www.stofcheckballingerfuneralhome.com Directions to Radnor Cemetery Florist Login Feel free to post a remembrance on this person's birthday, anniversary of passing, holidays, or whenever feels appropriate.
