Mary Cathrine Tracy Haughn
Mary Cathrine Tracy HaughnGardeningMary Cathrine Tracy Haughn, age 86 of Richwood, passed away Sunday January 6, 2008, from complications of pneumonia at the Gables at Green Pastures in Marysville. She had been in failing health for over six months.

Mary was born June 9, 1921 in Richwood to the late Don D. and Blanche (Blue) Tracy of Richwood.  On July 15, 1945 in Richwood she married Samuel E. Haughn and he died February 14, 1983.  Surviving is son: Gregory D. Haughn of Richwood and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was a former member of the First United Methodist Church in Richwood, charter member for 51 years of the Progressive Buds Garden Club of Byhalia; she had worked at the Fulfillment Corp in Marion, and was a certified ceramic teacher with her son at their home studio and at Seton Square in Marion for over 25 years.

Friends may call Wednesday January 9, 2008 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM with Rev. Fred Cheney officiating.  Burial will be in the Byhalia Cemetery.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Gables Aviary Fund at 390 Gables Dr. Marysville, Ohio 43040

Greg, I am so sorry to learn of your mothers passing.  May God receive her warmly and strengthen you in your grief.  I remember her warmth toward me mnyyears back like it was just now!
