Wilbur “Will” Cantrell
Wilbur “Will” CantrellODOTWilbur “Will” Cantrell age 65 of Magnetic Springs died unexpectedly Thursday January 3, 2008 at Memorial Hospital of Union County.  He was born November 25, 1942 in Flat Gap, Kentucky to Earl and Juanita (King) Cantrell, who both survive in rural Marysville.

LIFE
LIFE IS GOOD and LIFE IS BAD
IT CAN MAKE YOU HAPPY or IT CAN MAKE YOU SAD
LIFE CAN MAKE YOU GRIEVE and MAKE YOU FEEL SORROW
WE ARE HERE TODAY and GONE TOMORROW
WE HAVE FRIENDS WE LOVE and ENEMIES WE HATE
LIFE IS CONTROLLED FROM ABOVE IT IS A THING CALLED FATE
FOR EVERY LIFE WE LOSE ANOTHER WE WILL GAIN
SUNNY DAYS WOULDN?T SEEM BRIGHT IF IT WASN?T FOR THE RAIN
IF WE DIDN?T FEEL HEALTHY WE WOULDN?T UNDERSTAND PAIN
FOR ALL THINGS HAPPEN and ALL FOR A REASON
LIFE WOULD BE BORING WITH ONLY ONE SEASON
SO WHEN YOU FEEL BLUE and NO NEED TO LIVE
THINK OF ALL OF THE LOVE THAT YOU HAVE TO GIVE
FOR PEOPLE LOVE YOU JUST AS YOU DID THOSE THAT ARE GONE
THAT IS REASON ENOUGH FOR LIFE TO CARRY ON
                                                  Kathy,

You were there when I needed you, let me know if there is anything you need..

Will was a good friend from my past.  Although we did not see each other much in recent years, I remember well our many pool games and trips frog hunting.  He never let me forget the night I walked him into an electric fence when he was soaking wet.  He helped me cut pigs a few times and decided farm-life was not for him.  Dad helped him get his state job as that was what my father was doing.  He was a very valuable state employee, Dad said.
My prayers are with the family.

Kathy,  I'm so glad that you and Will found each other and had the time together that you had.  My mother always said that it's better to love and lose then never to have loved at all.  How true that is.  As your husband he was your special love and he was also your best friend, so you have two losses.  We, your many friends are  grieving with you and your family.  I pray that your pain will soon fade and that your faith in God and wonderful memories of your life with Will, will  sustain you.  Love always, Linda and Gary Reid.

Kathy,
We were saddened to hear the news about the sudden death of your wonderful, caring, and giving husband, Wilbur.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time of loss.
We are all in a state of shock.
I feel honored to have been able to be in your lives.  Both of you have always been supportive and thoughtful, no matter what, and especially since my MS diagnosis.  I am so blessed that I ever had the privilege of meeting two people who are so compatible, accenting each other’s wonderful qualities, and in love as the two of you.  I have always envied that.
I always felt completely safe when the two of you were around, watching out for me.
I know that your GREAT strength, family, and friends, including us, will help you at this time of loss or whenever.
If you need help with ANYTHING, just to talk, cry or whatever, I am just a MINUTE away.  You know it can be any time, day, or night, it does not matter.  Just remember, "Those who live in the hearts of others never die."
Love you always,
Jane Thompson

There is no treasure like the treasure of a faithful friend;
There is no pleasure like the pleasure Friendship can lend:
Fame and riches,other pleasures,
These my quickly pass away-
Friendship and its golden trasures
Last forever and a day.

We were honered to call Will a friend.

Kathy, you have our deepest sympathy

Kathy,
I'll never forget the really good times we've had and how much Will loved you. It's such a loss to you and his family, and he'll be missed. Will was always a better friend to me than I was to him and I truely regret that. I know you'll think of him often and when you do, smile, he would want you to.
See you soon
