Herbert F. Carlyle

Herbert F. Carlyle, age 76, of New Bloomington,Ohio, died Sunday December 30, 2007 at 9:15 AM at his residence.  He was born January 9, 1931 in LaRue, Ohio to the late Warren and Princess (James) Carlyle.  On May 29, 1949 he married Bessie L. Meadows and she survives. Also surviving is one daughter; Karen S. (Butch) Wylie, two sons; Don E. (Terry) Carlyle and Roger W. (Lisa) Carlyle all of Marion.  Three Grandchildren; Tamsee D. McNeely, Donald L. Carlyle and Brandy J. Carlyle. Five Great Grandchildren, four step Grandchildren, and twelve step Great Grandchildren.  Nine sisters; Judith Walker of LaRue, Thelma Ayers and Kate Browning both of Marion, Joanne Clark of LaRue, Ruby Saunders and Wanda Hay both of Galion, Joyce Wood of New Bloomington, Edith Baker of Bristoville, Ohio and Janice Crum of Mineral Ridge, Ohio.  Two brothers; Stanley Clair Carlyle of Prospect and Jesse Carlyle of Caledonia. One Great Grandson and one step Great Granddaughter are deceased. Mr. Carlyle worker for 35 years at the Marion Power Shovel Co as an inspector and also was a pattern maker.  Later he worked at the LaRue Cash and Carry for 10 years.  Member of the Eagles Lodge # 337 of Marion and loved to ride his motorcycle. Funeral Services will be held Thursday January 3, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue.  Burial in the LaRue Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday.
