What a wonderful lady!  My mom (Marilyn Knapp) and Ruth would play Bridge together on many occasions in their earlier years. She loved teasing Ruth incessantly and they had a very rewarding relationship.
I was one of Dr. Dietrich's young patients long ago and still remember him well. I often tell my son about Dr. Dietrich and his wife. In fact...one of my son's best friends lives in their old home on the corner of Section Street.
Ruth has been missed around our little town for quite some time.....it's nice to have her home.
Bless your hearts in your time of sorrow.

Sincerely,

Jennifer (Knapp) Conroy

I am sorry for your loss.  Your Mother and mine, Peggy Wittibslager, go back a long time.  They were boy scout Mother's together, friends and your father was not only our family physician but like a member of our family.  Your parents had a great impact on our community and our lives.  Mom died last year, June 8 at my home here in Florida and I was by her side.  She remembered your family fondly.   Sincerly, Barbara

I want to express my sincerest sympathy to the family of Ruth Dietrich. Phyllis is a childhood friend of mine and I am so sorry for your loss.
Whenever I would spend the night at the Dietrich's, Ruth always prepared the most fabulous meals and she was always such a loving presence.
