Eva M. Moore
Eva M. Moore, 87, formerly of Prospect, died Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center in Round Rock, Texas.  She was born November 4, 1919 in Marseilles, Ohio to the late Frank Porter and Pearl Ethel (Shuff) Hempy.

On June 2, 1940 she married Jacob Oscar Moore in Russell, Kentucky and he died July 16, 1993.

She was a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church, Prospect Senior Citizens
and Round Rock Senior Citizens.  She was retired from Ranco in Delaware and had also worked for many years at the former Sutton & Lightner store in Marion.  

She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn (Gary) Reynolds, Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren, Beth (Rick) Sibert, Columbus; Tonia Scarpitti, Blacklick, Ohio; Tara (Andrew) Crossland, Sunbury, Ohio; step-grandchildren, Dennis Reynolds, Portland, Oregon; Michael Reynolds, Portland, Oregon; Mark Reynolds, Brainerd, Minnesota; Chris Reynolds, Round Rock, Texas; great-grand children,  Hayley, Hannah and Samuel Sibert, Jacob Scarpitti, Jacob and Kali Crossland; a brother, Frank Hempy, Prospect and a sister, Luella Huffman, Westerville.  She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 8, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the Prospect United Methodist Church with Rev. David L. Hoffman officiating.  Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2 to 5 PM on Sunday at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Prospect.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Prospect United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 6, Prospect, OH  43342 or a charity of the donor's choice.
