Thelma M. Russell
Thelma M. Russell, 91, of Marion died Thursday, October 26, 2006 at Kingston.  She was born Oct. 8, 1915 in Delaware County to the late H. Chester and Rosa (Robinson) Lane.

Thelma worked as a Coordinator for TOPS in the Northwest Ohio area for 29 years and was an area Captain for 7 years.  She was from the Prospect area, until she moved to Marion in 1982.  She was a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church, a former member of Lydia Chapter 83 Order of the Eastern Star, and former member of Pythian Sisters, Durwood Temple # 427.

On Aug 10, 1946 she married Cloe Russell, who died Sept. 8, 1992.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Donna (Robert) Barrett, Marion; Susanne Jackson, Powell, a brother, John Lane, Prospect; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 3 step great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, 1 sister and a son-in-law, Ronald Jackson.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, October 28, 2006 at 12:00 P.M. in the Prospect Cemetery with Rev. David L. Hoffman officiating.  Visitation will be held at Gehm-Ballinger Funeral Home, Prospect on Saturday from 11 AM to Noon.

Memorial contributions may be made to Project Faith, Prospect United Methodist Church, 203 N. Elm St., Prospect, OH  43342.

Sue, Donna and families,
Please know that our thoughts are with you at this time. Thelma was a wonderful lady. We remember her well. She was blessed with a long life and a family who loved her. She is in God's hands.
