Peggy,

I'm so sorry about the loss of your dad.  As a little girl, I always looked to him as a good man, a kind and loving person who couldn't have loved you any more than he did.

You probably would remember me as Betty Mathewson.  My mom and dad, Rita and Albert Mathewson, lived about 1/8th of a mile down the road from you when you lived right outside Peoria.

I've often wondered what happened to you after your family moved away.  We used to carry our mother's clothes down the road to each other's houses and dress up.  We used to wear our mommas heels and have the best times.  I wonder if you remember...you were really young - - maybe 5 or 6.

Just wanted to say "hello".  I'm sorry I missed your dad's wake.  I didn't read his obituary until it was too late.  Losing him must be really hard.  He'll always live on with you in your heart.

Sending warm fuzzies!  -:)
Elizabeth Sedgwick

I live in Marysville at 947 Collins Avenue.  My phone number is 937-644-1853 in the event you might like to touch base sometime.
