I did not know Jim but have worked with Dan for several years. It is very
difficult to loose someone you love. It is even more difficult to loose a child. I
trully can relate to your pain as i lost a son three years ago. I believe that
god has a plan and that Jim is in better place. May god bless you and give
you the strenth to get you through this difficult time.

Bless all of your hearts. What a great loss we have in losing our friend, Jim. I have been a lifelong friend of Jim's. I had not seen him in years, but had the great honor of seeing him when he came to see me last Labor Day when I was home visiting my Mother. We had such a good visit, and it seemed like only yesterday since we had seen each other. He will will missed deeply. Jim Drown - Arlington, Texas

To the family of Jim Simpkins,
I knew Jim since the beginning of grade school in Prospect. I always liked Jim, from the start. He was always a rugged individual and a free spirit. I guess what I admired about him the most, was his positive attitude and easygoing, friendly ways. We were in contact through our early adult years, but as happens so often in life, lost track for long periods. I'm thankful I got to see Jim several weeks ago when I found out that he had taken ill. We had a good visit and got to talk and laugh a little about the 'old days.' He was still the same Jim. I'll truly miss Jim as I know you will. I do believe that he has met his heavenly father and now is in a beuatiful place. God bless you all. Sincerely, Jim Hoffman

I know that anyone who ever met 'Cherokee' will never forget him. Though we've been out of touch for a few years he has never left my mind. My heart felt sympathy goes out to everyone especially family, and I pray God gives you the peace and strength that passes all understanding.
Rest in Peace Cherokee

In Him

Rae
