| Lena Fay Moore, 94, formerly of Richwood and Cape Kennedy, Fla., died
Tuesday, June 29,1993, at Hickory Creek Nursing Center in Athens after having been seriously ill for two weeks. She was a homemaker and co-owner for 35 years of Moore's Shoe Repair in Richwood. In Florida she worked in the motel owned by the seven original astronauts. She was a member of the Richwood First United Methodist Church, past president of the Ohio and National Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, past president of the Rebecca Lodge in Richwood and member of the Richwood Civic Center. She was born Feb. 19,1899, in Lewis Center to the late William and Eliza Chester Showalter. She married H. Olen Moore on June 16,1918, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 14, 1952. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Fred (Ann) Erwin of Tucson, Ariz.; three sons, Eugene Moore of Punta Gorda, Fla., Charles Moore of Athens and Larry Moore of Bellefontaine; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two greatgreat- grandchildren; and two sisters, Marie Johnson and Bernice Vogt of Columbus. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Ballinger-Peppard Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Wilbur R. Boyer will officiate and interment will be at Claibourne Cemetery.
