Berlin D. Forrider
Berlin D. Forrider, 84, of Richwood died Sunday, June 6,1993, at Marion
General Hospital.
He owned and operated the former Fulton Creek Lumber Company near
Richwood and was a member of the Fulton Creek Friends Church.
He was born July 26,1908, in Jackson Township to the late William and Eliza
Northrup Forrider. He married Anna Catharine Penhorwood on Sept. 20,1934,
and she preceded him in death on OcL 18,1982. He was also predeceased by two
sisters and a brother.
He is survived by four sons, Dallas Forrider and Gerald Forrider, both of
Richwood, Keith Forrider of Radnor and Ronald Forrider of Alberton, Mont,; a
stepson, Raymond Gene Clady of Richwood; 12 grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Fulton Creek Friends
Church. The Rev. Charles Fye will officiate and interment will be at Hopewell
Cemetery near Magnetic Springs. Friends may call Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p.m. at the Ballinger-Peppard Funeral Home in Richwood.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fulton Creek Friends Church
memorial fund.
