John Paul VanWinkle
MasonryJohn Paul VanWinkle, 76,of Richwood died Tuesday, Oct. 25,1994, after
having been in failing health for four years.
He was a self-employed carpenter, painter and cabinet maker. He was a member
of the Richwood First United Methodist Church and Mt Carmel Lodge
#303 F&AM.
He was born May 14,1918, in Richwood to the late Paul B. and Alpharetta
Phillips VanWinkle.
He married Nadine Clark in southern Ohio on Jan. 3,1942, and she survives.
He is also survived by five sons, Gary and Richard of Columbus, Alan of Marion,
Neil of Solon and Clark of San Antonio, Texas; a daughter, Lisa Baker of
Richwood; seven grandchildren; a sister, Virginia Fox of Nassau Bay, Texas;
and a brother, Phillip VanWinkle of Arlington, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Ballinger Funeral
Home in Richwood. The Rev. James R. Christy will officiate and interment will
be at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Richwood VFW or to the Alzheimer's
Association
