Donald Ray Evert
FlagDonald Ray Evert, 69, of Ostrander died unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 24,
1994, at his residence.
He formerly owned and operated a refuse service in Richwood. A veteran of
the U. S. Army, he was a member of American Legion Baccarat Post #40.
He was born July 8,1924, in Union County to the late Charles Ben and Delia
May Hill Evert. He was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.
He married Margaret JoAnn Mitchell on April 2,1952, in Indiana and she
survives. He is survived by a son, Donald Evert Jr., of Sparta; two daughters,
Theresa Ann Robertson of Ontario, Canada, and Donna Kathryn Robertson of
Johnstown; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two step-greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Fulton Creek Friends
Church. The Rev. Charles Fye will officiate and interment will be at Shoup
Cemetery in Prospect Friends may call from 2 ID 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at
the Ballinger-Peppard Funeral Home in Richwood. American Legion Baccarat
Post #40 will conduct graveside services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fulton Creek
Friends Church.
