| Evan Otis Christian, 72 of
York Center, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 15, 1995 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus. The retired Whirlpool employee was born July 13, 1922 in Oakhill, OH, son of the late Arch and Ella Gray Christian. He married the former Vesta Barnhart November 30, 1940. Surviving are his wife, three daughters Sharon Marsh of Marysville, Diana Clyborn of Marion and Margo Furer of Mt. Victory; a son Evan of York Center; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother Walter of Marion and a sister Helen Markle of Caca Grande, AZ. Nine brothers and sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Monday, May 19 at Ballinger Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Wilson officiating. Burial was at York Cemetery.
