| Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 25 for Perry Elwood
Longshore, 82, who died at his Richwood residence Tuesday, Oct. 22, 1996. The retired carpenter was born May 1,1914, son of Minor Leroy and Nettie Hites Longshore. He married the former June Harraman November 29, 1935 and Minnie Wampler June 24, 1984. Both preceded him in death. Surviving are a son Harold of Delaware; three daughters Barbara Miller and Jeanie Hildreth, both of Richwood and Nancy Yoakum of Russels Point; two step-sons Eugene Wampler of Sunbury and Wendell Wampler of Gahanna; a step-daughter Ilene McKenzie of Sunbury; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother Sidney of Newark and a sister Juanita Barnhart of Rushsylvania. Two sons, two brothers and two sisters are deceased. The Rev. Matt Terry conducted funeral services at Ballinger Funeral Home. Interment was at Price Cemetery.
