Ella Stanley George

Former Richwood resident, Ella Stanley George, 99, died Thursday,
Sept. 26, 1996 at Milcrest Nursing Center in Marysville.
The retired bookkeeper was a member of the Richwood First
Baptist Church, Mt. Carmel Chapter #42, OES. She was a former
employee at Green Lake Baptist Conference in Green Lake,
Wisconsin.
The daughter of the late Jacob and Mae Vial Usner was born
in Akron June 26, 1897. Her husbands Norman B. Zimmerman,
Harrison Fisher, Chauncey Wetzel and Harry George preceded her
in death.
Surviving are a daughter Helen Baird of Marysville; a son Brice
Zimmerman of Columbus, a stepson Loy George, and a step-,
daughter Ruth George, both of Richwood. Also surviving are six
grandchildren, 21 greatgrandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and
3 step great-grandchildren; and a sister Marian Fitzsimmonds of
Springfield. Two brothers and seven sisters are deceased.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 30 at Ballinger
Funeral Home with Rev. Barb Stevens and Rev. Herschel Roper
officiating. Burial was at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Gideons in care of
Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood.
