| Harold Edward Rice, 87 of Winter Haven, Fla., formerly of Richwood,
died Wednesday, April 10,1996, at Winter Haven Hospital after having been in failing health for several years. He had worked at Mills Chevrolet in Richwood and was a member of the Essex K of P Lodge. He was born May 16, 1908, in Oklahoma to the late Claude and Mae Lyon Rice. He married Carrie Mae Weiss Nov. 10, 1935, and she died Oct 19, 1976. He was also predeceased by his second wife, Helen Lumberson Rice, in 1995. He is survived by a son, Darryl G. Rice of Richwood; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at the Green Camp Cemetery at a later date. The Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood is in charge of arrangements.
