| Radnor resident, Glenna Marjorie Sparks, 80, died unexpectedly
Sunday, Oct. 26, 1997 at Grady Memorial Hospital. The daughter of Marion Francis and Lulu M. DeLong Weiss was born June 11, 1917 in Marion County. Her husband Harold L. Sparks, whom she married July 26, 1936, died December 29, 1988. She was a member of Fulton Creek Friends Church and an avid arrowhead hunter. Surviving are two daughters Marjorie Criswell of Waldo and Barbara Birchfield of Delaware; two sons, Jay of Radnor and Roger of Richwood; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a brother, Richard DeLong of Columbus. A grandson, two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. The Rev. Charles Fye will conduct funeral services Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 2 p.m. at Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. Burial will be at Radnor Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fulton Creek Evangelical Friends Church Memorial Fund.
